“I want to do with you what spring does with the cherry trees” ~ Pablo Neruda

my thoughts drift to your kisses…
falling softly like cherry blossoms
from a tree…
gently landing like snowflakes on my skin…
soft and sweet like marshmallows…
sugary confections…
magical bon bons…
made of sweetness and light…
as i taste your tongue on mine,
like caramel and sweet tea…
i drink of u
as though u r the last drop of water in the desert.
breathing in the fragrant scent of u…
like the haunting scent of flowers that bloom at night…
i picture life with u like the garden in a moonlight temple,
calm and tranquil, with little stops along the paths,
to rest your soul, to cleanse the spirit, to heal the heart…
i say a prayer, whispering incantations and devotions…
falling softly like cherry blossoms…
from my lips.
